Swiss Pattern (meaning Swiss specification) Pippin; a tanged precision file which meets or exceeds US Government specifications GGG-F-331b. Shaped like an apple seed with a rounded back tapering to a sharp edge like a tear drop. Double cut and tapers in thickness and width to a point. A combination type file which has the same applications as for many shapes like Crossing, Round and Knife.
